The entire experience of prepping for a big event with Christina was fabulous. Myself and my boyfriend needed some spooky Halloween makeup, we wanted to be skeletons for a big-ticket event in Downtown Toronto. Only weeks before the event I contacted Christina who optimized her schedule and fit us both in for SFX makeup. We arrived at her studio and were greeted right away, offered refreshments and she even managed to make my boyfriend-who had never gotten his makeup done before- feel extremely at ease and comfortable.
Christina took the photos we brought in for inspiration and ensured we were happy about the look at every stage of the makeup application. You could really tell she put a lot of thought and passion into every look she creates. She used our existing bone structure to make 2 very spooky skeleton faces, and our faces are very different! My makeup turned out phenomenal, and she set the makeup and gave us suggestions on some purse-scale products we could bring with us to the event for any touchups.
I got so many complements on my costume and so did he. I don’t think any of my Halloween costumes to date have topped that one and it would not have been nearly as good without Christina’s expertise and artistry!
